Lost The Battle, Won the War

The SailTrim site is in full operation and my apologies for the inconvenience.

This past week was a challenging week for SailTrim; getting the newsletter out, website going down and figuring out how to "stay in touch" with the world. In the process of creative problem solving, a few spin off ideas resulted. In a recent conversation I was sharing a discussion of how sailors are scattered around the world, disconnected and "virtual meeting grounds" keep us all "connected".

The Newsletter is available to all who are interested and there exsit excellent forums (Scuttlebutt) to discuss topics of interest. How about the idea of virtual training partners? I've read about other fitness gurus who have given this a try and concerned with how well it works out. The thought was building a private forum for those who would like daily, weekly contact with SailTrim.

Features would include but no limited to:
  • Daily responses to questions and concerns
  • Tips and suggestions when in a rutt
  • A guarantee motivator at your fingertips when you are having a training lull!

I am looking for a way to be intouch with the community at large, however, SailTrim does need to support all these services and would have to charge a modest fee to follow through.

To develop the idea further; I need to hear from you: Email Me Please

Hosting Wars

Fair Winds ~ www.sailtrim.org is temporarily down while I do battle with my current hosting service.

Please stay tuned to my Blog for updates, this disruption will not effect the newsletter's distribution for November.

My apologies for the inconvenience!
